Dr. Reynaldo I. Monzon has over 25 years of experience a researcher-planner-practitioner in higher education and has conducted numerous evaluations, evaluation trainings, and teaches graduate-level courses on statistics, research methods, and assessment/evaluation. Dr. Monzon is currently SDSU's Director of Student Affairs Assessment & Research and is a participating member of the campus Student Learning Outcomes Committee, Learning Analytics Working Group, Undergraduate Council, and the First-Generation and Transfer Student Success Advisory Boards. He also served as a Vice Chair Commissioner on the Chula Vista Districting Commission, President of the Council of Philippine American Organizations of San Diego County (COPAO) and President of the Filipino American Educators of San Diego County (FILAMEDA). Rey has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Research from Claremont Graduate University.
