Dr. Nivedita Chatterjee has over ten years of experience in international journalism, public outreach, and the mass communication field. Her experience includes working in both the non-profit and public service sectors including at the City of Del Mar and Survivors of Torture, International. She was a journalist with the Press Trust of India before earning her doctorate at the College of Communications, Pennsylvania State University. She received a fellowship from Pennsylvania State University, where she specialized in minority media rights. Her dissertation was on low-power FM stations and how it contributes to creating a public platform for minority voices.
